Acorn Childcare is part of Acorn Early Years Foundation, a social enterprise with charitable status, providing early years education and childcare in Milton Keynes, Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire. We have 13 day nurseries, 7 out-of-school clubs, forest schools in a variety of locations, and training and consultancy. The organisation is developing a reputation for expertise in outdoor learning, and in professional development for early years practitioners. We also have a small catering division, delivering high quality meals to other nurseries.Acorn Early Years Foundation is governed by a board of trustees, and we are always interested in hearing from potential new trustees who would like to volunteer their skills and expertise. The organisation is also undertaking action research in a range of areas, all focused on the social impact of our work.
