SInce launching in August 2011, More Love Letters has since spread across 6 continents to all 50 states, over 49 countries, and nearly 100 college campuses. It has since brought over 13,000 love letters into the world. The team is made up of 20 passionate individuals with hearts on fire for a world that hold more love and connection. In February 2013, More Love Letters partnered with the United States Postal Service to celebrate the release of their 40th year edition of the LOVE Stamp. In March 2013, More Love Letters partnered with Cards for Hospitalized Kids and launched their Kids' Cursive branch to empower children to write love letters to other kids at the Miami Children's Hospital. Founder Hannah Brencher created the organization after spending a year writing over 400 love letters to strangers in need across the world. Her love letter writing habits began in New York City in October 2010 as she tucked love letters throughout the city as a way to ward off her own depression and loneliness. She is a spokesperson for the USPS and was named a TED Speaker in November 2012.
