(SSI) is a Pennsylvania not‐for‐profit corporation, approved as a501(C)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Code.  It is a legally separate entity and was formedto provide services to the University community that are not available through the State System ofHigher Education.  SSI currently:● Operates the University store;● Operates digital signage;● Provides vending services including laundry operations;● Operates the copy shop;● Provides technical services;● Provides bookkeeping services for student organizations;● Manages the student union building;● Manages the fitness center;● Provides ticket sales for campus activities and events; and● Provides check cashing services.SSI is operated by a professional staff including the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Business Officerand is also governed by a Board of Directors consisting of trustees, faculty, staff and students of theUniversity.
