Sarah Ashley started Sash Engineering in the spring of 2014. Sash offers traditional geotechnical engineering services such as coordinating and monitoring subsurface investigations; technical analysis and design of foundations, earth slopes and retaining walls; subgrade observations and consultation during construction as well as third party inspection services. While Sash Engineering is relatively new, Sarah has nearly 15 years in the engineering and construction industry. Sarah has worked on a large variety of projects, including residential and commercial buildings, industrial upgrades, wastewater treatment facilities, utilities (energy and communication), infrastructure (roads, rail, and bridges) and wind farm projects. Sarah is the only practicing geotechnical engineer north of Bangor, Maine.
