She served as a holistic health practitioner prior and during her medical school training. During her medical school and residency years, she studied the science of osteopathic manipulative medicine. After completing her post-graduate training, she studied age management medicine and bio-identical hormonal replacement therapy at Cenergenics Institute. She also undertook studies in clinical homeopathy in order to use a more integrative approach in the assessment and treatment of her patients.
