Riverside Sunderland is the UK's most ambitious Net Zero regeneration project that will completely transform the city for the people and organisations living and working there. Expo Sunderland exists as a non-profit enterprise that serves Sunderland City Council, the community of Sunderland, and the city's investors, to drive awareness, support and excitement in this incredible nationally-important regeneration project. Over the next two and a half years, we aim to build awareness nationally with a series of B2B and B2C events that will be hosted by the City of Sunderland - events that will focus on greener, smarter and more sustainable work, leisure and lifestyle. This all culminates in a unique national Expo, scheduled for summer 2024, when over two weeks the City of Sunderland will welcome 150,000+ visitors to a huge consumer and business event that celebrates the city's rejuvenation. This is a once in a generation event and truly unique in scope and scale.
