Worcester Community Trust is a registered charity that runs six community centres in the City of Worcester providing crucial facilities for community use, activities and services – empowering people of all ages. We deliver a wide range of services that make a difference to the daily lives of people in our communities including the socially isolated, the lonely, victims of domestic abuse and the wider community. In 2017 we held over 690 youth sessions, with over 8,000 young people attending; served over 2,000 healthy lunches for older people in our community ‘snack and chat' and a wide range of other community services. We support people into work with construction skills training in our fantastic facility – The Building Block. The Building Block offers construction skills and training which reached over 1,200 people from those with additional needs, to schools, women and those wanting to learn new skills. We aim to be at the centre of thriving communities and for our centres to be the hub of community activity to achieve our vision of Bringing People Together.
