HeadFirst Sports Injury and Concussion Care was founded by Dr. Robert G. Graw, Jr., M.D., Chief Executive Officer of Righttime Medical Care, as a community model for the diagnosis, management, and treatment of Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI/concussion) caused by a bump, blow, or jolt to the head. HeadFirst provides post-injury medical evaluation for patients of all ages who have sustained head injuries. Trained in the evaluation and management of TBI, the HeadFirst medical team works with a network of specialists to ensure patients receive optimal care. HeadFirst also provides ImPACT® pre- and post-injury testing for sports teams and individuals, and supports athletic trainers and coaches with a community-focused concussion awareness education program, monthly Concussion Consortium meetings and 24-hour sports injury hotline. HeadFirst currently operates 10 clinics located inside Righttime Medical Care Centers in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Frederick, Howard and Montgomery counties in Maryland.
