Appleseed is a nonprofit network of 17 public justice interest centers in the United States and Mexico working to break down barriers to equal opportunity. Appleseed Centers work with pro bono attorneys and other professionals to research problems, recommend practical and systemic solutions, and engage in targeted and passionate advocacy to win reforms that will mean better lives for people around the country and in Mexico. The National Appleseed office provides network leadership, helps Appleseed centers succeed, and promotes collaborative projects that can become models for innovative progress.
