In 1942 it was acquired by the Amalgamations Group - a leading conglomerate in South India and continued to be a member of the group. Since 1955,Addison started manufacturing HSS rotary tools and grey iron castings. Now the manufacturing list includes Rotary Solid Carbide tools , Broaches and Hobs. It also makes Machines for Tools Resharpening and Grinding. Addison tools are made to various Global standards and also to Indian standards.
