Anthea Aromatics is a speciality chemicals manufacturer based in Mumbai, India. Our Purpose is to use innovative and sustainable chemistry to enrich the lives of families all over the world.Anthea was founded in 1992 by Dr. Vincent Paul, a reputed scientist, who, prior to starting Anthea, had done post-doctoral stints in Columbia and Johns Hopkins, before returning to India to join the erstwhile Hindustan Lever (now Unilever India) Research Centre in Mumbai.Reflecting the values of our founder, Anthea is highly Research Driven. Our R&D expertise coupled with lean manufacturing enable us to develop, produce and supply products of the finest quality. Anthea Aromatics, along with DRT-Anthea Aroma Chemicals and Catàsynth Speciality Chemicals form the The Anthea Group.Our core values are Innovation, Excellence, Integrity and Teamwork.Anthea believes in growth through partnerships, which is reflected in DRT-Anthea Aroma Chemicals, our 50:50 joint venture with DRT France (now part of Swiss multinational, Firmenich) and Catàsynth Speciality Chemicals, a joint venture with Solvay (Belgium) set up in 2020.
