Acasus is dedicated to helping governments make rapid improvements to public health and education. Our objective is to help them make real and substantial improvements in the education and healthcare of millions of people.We work in small teams that support the most senior officials in government (typically at ministerial or prime-ministerial level) to drive rapid reforms. Much of our day-to-day work involves helping officials to:• Plan and develop strategies• Monitor progress• Use data and other information• Build capacity and skills throughout the system• Improve coordination and cooperation• Solve problems and challenges as they arise• Access international evidence and lessons about what worksOur teams include a mix of experienced consultants from leading international consultancies, locally-hired staff, software engineers, and data analyst. Consultants on our teams work full-time on a single project. Their work is varied and includes both policy and strategy work at the office and a lot of frontline fieldwork to understand and drive implementation at the ground level.Our team of software engineers builds products used across our engagements to help partners gather and understand data. These web and mobile applications use the latest cloud and development frameworks adapted to our challenging work environments to rapidly deliver insights for our partners.
