Jugantar Samaj Unnayan Sangstha (JSUS) is a flourishing Non Government Organization in Bangladesh which is highly promising to accelerate the socio-economic development throughout the country. Having seen the distressful picture of poor people, Founder, Mr Sayedul Arefin and co founder, Executive Director Ms Yeasmin Parvin felt to establish an organization to fulfill their crying needs and in association with some dedicated social workers, philanthropists and others took proper initiatives to start the journey of JSUS in November 27, 1997. At the very beginning, JSUS launched Education Programme for disadvantaged working children at korbanigonj in old Chattogram. From 2003, JSUS started partnership with BRACs Education Support program (ESP) in Patia and Anowara till 2016. After successful completion of ESP in Moheshkhali JSUS is starating new program of ESP in Banshkhali from 1st February 2020 to till now. From 2017, JSUS has started new partnership with BRACs second Chance Education Project, Ministry of Primary Education in the chattogram city corporation area for smooth functioning of 95 centers.on the other hand JSUS has been reached to the mass people with 10 development projects at Chattogram district and few areas of Cox's Bazar with the help of 203 educated, well-trained and dedicated staffs. From the head office of Chattogram, 10 project offices and 2 training centers programmes of JSUS always giving special attention to children, adolescents, PWD's and women empowerment. JSUS also runs micro-finance programmes that provide loan only to women owned IGA project.Considering the social phenomenon, JSUS gives priority of children, adolescents and women in the design of implementation. Success of child club, adolescent's platform, pre primary education, ECCD, anti-trafficking awareness, child nutrition, life skill development, child health programmes are remarkable among the progarmmes of JSUS.
