Homicides have been reduced by more than 72% and violent crime 39% with a continued downward trajectory. In May 2015, the 44th President of the United States of American Barack Obama visited Camden, NJ to announce his President's Task Force on 21st Century Policing report. The National Law Enforcement Museum in Washington DC features CCPD in its American Policing section as the present day and future of law enforcement.
