Groupmuse is an online platform that organizes house concert parties hosted in peoples' living rooms. Since the first groupmuse in January 2013, there have been 500 groupmuses in 13 cities throughout the USA and abroad. Groupmuse has been featured in Time Magazine, Wall Street Journal, the Boston Globe, the Guardian, NPR, and many more. In March 2020, Groupmuse pivoted to online concerts streamed from musicians' homes, to protect public health and safety. Groupmuse Foundation was launched in September 2020 to support musicians in need of training, tech, and technology to stay connected to audiences during the pandemic.The Groupmuse community consists of musicians and audiences who meet in real life and online, to engage with music in warm and intimate settings. Our events are open to any and all ages and types.In Jan 2021, Groupmuse became a worker-owned cooperative. In Oct 2021, musician-owners will join the multistakeholder cooperative.
