Owned & operated by Godman Guild Association, Camp Mary Orton strives to strengthen families and communities by providing opportunities for personal growth, a place to experience nature and respite, and a resource that contributes to the mission of Godman Guild. Originally nemed "Camp Johnson," the property was used as an area for the children and families of Fly Town to find a summer refuge and to experience the great outdoors. During the 1920s, generous donations allowed Godman Guild to expand the camp to its present 167 acres. Edward Orton, Jr., an active Guild board member, contributed proceeds from his late wife's estate. The lodge at Camp Mary Orton was built in her honor.Today, Camp Mary Orton has greatly expanded its services to include the Greater Columbus private and corporate sectors. Our property is home to two summer camps; Adventure Academy & Discovery Day Camp. We have serval rental spaces that can host any event, both large or small. Our adventure activities, whether it's our High Ropes, Climbing Wall, or our team building initiatives, complement the Guild's mission to empower the individual, strengthen families and foster community.
