TeCanal, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation dedicated to furthering STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) education.TeCanal believes that basic STEM education is essential for success in the modern world and that all should have the opportunity to access applicable resources regardless of their social status, location or financial situation.As the name of the organization suggests, Te(ch)Canal aims to be a link, or "canal", between technology and the communities that could benefit the most from it.The modern world necessitates a practical understanding of topics related to STEM; TeCanal realizes this need and seeks to put in place measures to ensure that everyone is given the opportunity to be competitive, both educationally and occupationally. TeCanal achieves such goals by providing technical equipment such as computers, peripherals and computing classes to the low income areas and qualifying charitable organizations.
