Seán & Stephen is a London-based architecture studio. We create compelling built designs with familiar geometry, scientific intrigue and fictional narrative throughout our projects.We create for the theatre of the everyday; our projects are the stage, props & backdrops around which interesting stories unfold. We make our projects where we can; a hands on approach. Our projects are sometimes intimate, sometimes extrovert, but always contextual.Stephen Mackie and Seán McAlister began working together in Dundee in 2010. We are advocates of a personal design process; of contextual projects, no matter the scale and budget. We'll study your creative desires, challenge your brief and push for a vital, unique design. Our niche designs bridge disciplines; architecture, illustration, art, education, digital design & publishing. We have designed bespoke shop fronts, public artworks, art installations, set design, websites, film & residential architecture.We are more than the sum of our parts. Combined, our special interests in sound, pattern-making, computed geometries and illustration offer an unparalleled flavour of art/architecture for our clients.
