Artist, writer, researcher, working across installation, moving image, sound and text. Upcoming projects include solo exhibitions at MAI, Montreal (2014) and Artclub 1563, Seoul (2015). Previous solo projects include 'Lightness', a multi-channel moving image & sound installation commissioned by Film & Video Umbrella and De La Warr Pavilion for 'Everything Flows', De La Warr Pavilion (2012); 'Faster, Higher', a 5-screen work and solo exhibition at WDC Gallery, Winchester (2012), originally commissioned by Film & Video Umbrella and BFI Southbank (2008); and 'Citius, Altius,' a single-channel work commissioned for the Samsung Olympics Media Art Collection and touring programme, 'Blue Crystal Ball' (2012). Earlier projects and exhibitions include 'DIY Ballroom/Live' (2007-08), a Cornerhouse Bigger Picture national touring commission; and 'Golden' (2005-7), an exhibition/residency/publication project with at Chinese Arts Centre, Manchester, and Beaconsfield, London. Work featured in UK group exhibitions at 198 Gallery, Beaconsfield, Cafe Gallery Projects, Chinese Arts Centre, Cornerhouse, De La Warr Pavilion, Hanmi Gallery, Hatton Gallery, Hayward Gallery, Holden Gallery, SPACETriangle, adn Winchester Discovery Centre. International group shows include: Beijing 798 Space, Hong Kong Arts Centre, Mori Art Museum, Tokyo, Shanghai Duolun MoMA, and SITE Sante Fe, NM.Publications include book chapters, articles, and three artist books: NEWS (2005), Golden (Notes) (2007), and Faster, Higher (2009). Recent visual essays include 'Faster, Higher' for the book, The Art of Dissent: London's Olympic State (2012), 'Making Ways' for a special co-edited issue of Journal of Visual Culture, marking the 40th anniversary of John Berger's Ways of Seeing (2012), and 'RoCH Fans & Legends (Entries)', for a themed issue of Journal of Visual Culture, on 'Archives' (2013).
