Raahgiri Foundation is a non-governmental organisation, dedicated to ushering sustainable mobility to make communities more active, promote a healthier lifestyle and advocate for safer roads thereby supporting inclusive development. It aims to bring about a fundamental shift in day-to-day experience and negotiation around commute. •To propagate ‘Streets for All' for promoting safe, accessible and inclusive public streets among city-stakeholders using effective methods for a sustainable mobility infrastructure. The aim abides with Sustainable Development Goal 11.2 as adopted by United Nation Member States in 2015. •To inculcate a behavioral change among people to perceive walking and cycling as essential components of physical and mental fitness; and, see streets as a means of health and social infrastructure, besides being for movement and transportation. •To advocate and capacitate government departments to plan and achieve safe, inclusive and healthy public streets and public spaces. •To aid the designing and execution of model urban streets and urban spaces that can act as a precursor to sustainable city infrastructure. •To continuously engage with people to initiate bottom-up methods of city planning and simultaneously capacitate top-down methods of managing, planning and designing cities for a sustainable future.
