FONDAZIONE UILDM LAZIO onlus was established in May 2016. The FOUNDATION carries out diagnostics and rehabilitative therapy for neuromuscular and neurological pathologies that involve functional limitation of motor autonomy, prevention services, clinical study and research, supports patients with specialist medical assistance services, social assistance, psychological counseling and genetic counseling. Performs rehabilitation both on an outpatient basis and at home.The FOUNDATION also deals with genetic counseling thanks to the group of genomic medicine that conducts genetic analyzes of any type and to the City of Fano Laboratory, specialized in the genetic and genomic investigations of all hereditary-familial diseases with particular reference to neurodegenerative and neuromuscular diseases, affiliated with the University of Urbino and with the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
