With the intention to bring like-minded women together to discuss ideas and challenges, to make new friends and mentors, and to aggressively support one another, we published a post on Instagram asking followers if they were interested in starting a girl gang. We did not expect 180 women from around the world to respond. Thus, Global Girl Gang was born as the first iteration. What happened next was far from a blur; rather a painstaking, detail-oriented few months of building the foundation of what became our cause. We then paused to work on a more results-oriented name. One that encompasses what we are truly trying to accomplish. Let us introduce you to Global Girls Give.Global Girls Give focuses on supporting and mentoring women, aged 13+, to find and use their voice, to empower themselves and one another, and to create a strong, global community via our mentorship and scholarship programs.Global Girls Give is a community for empowering women and giving back.
