Queen's Alternative Asset Association (QAAA) is an undergraduate alternative investment club founded with the main purpose of teaching and self-development. Our goal is to create a well-diversified portfolio by investing across several different asset classes. We write and publish research on various topics ranging from short strategies, numismatics, art, commodities, and everything in between.QAAA is the official undergraduate partner of the Queen's University Alternative Assets Fund (QUAAF) - a student directed hedge fund managing ~$500,000 of the university's endowment funds. Together, we aim to bring the alternative investments industry to the Queen's community through speaker events and tutorials, as well as providing students with hands on learning opportunities in asset management.
