Spartans Gym Pty Ltd is a warehouse style, boutique fitness centre open daily. Situated in Kilsyth, an eastern suburb of Melbourne, it is easily accessible and provides ample parking for members. Established in 1991, Spartans Gym was the result Australian Body Building Champion, Don Mahoney's dream to set up one of the first ‘world class gyms' in Australia. In October 2011, after 20 years of business, Spartans was purchased by 4 long term members with a vision to maintain the core values synonymous with the Spartans name and in parallel, implement a number of upgrades; modernised fitness rooms and facilities, new equipment, the addition of an area dedicated to women's fitness, all new metabolic training programs derived from current medical health research/discoveries. In order to serve the needs of a growing and diverse member base, continual improvements are being made on all levels. Basked in natural light, we offer over 2500sqm of sporting installations; a huge range modern cardio-vascular equipment, over 40 different fitness classes, Sauna, Spa, Expert Fitness Assessments, an Indoor Running Track, Certified Personal Trainers, Functional Training Area, State of the art Group Cycling room (spin), Large Plasma TV screens, Supplement Store and a Café; providing customers with quality service and a friendly social lieu.
