MSSA is Minnesota's oldest and largest membership organization. Our mission is uniting diverse professions and passionate people through education and legislative advocacy to enrich the lives of Minnesotans. MSSA members are connected to a network of nearly 3000 health and human service professionals and over 150 health and human service agencies spanning all budget sizes and geographic regions of Minnesota and the surrounding states. Annual Training Conference & Expo: MSSA's Annual Training Conference & Expo is the largest, most comprehensive, cost effective health and human service conference in the Midwest. It brings together approximately 3,000 health and human service professionals from all parts of the country. With over 100 educational workshops covering a broad spectrum of topics and featuring high quality, local and nationally recognized speakers, MSSA is able to bring to you cutting edge topics on the focus areas important to those in the health and human services field. It provides a unique opportunity for agencies and businesses to share new technologies and programs during the Annual Conference & Expo. Each year, more than 180 organizations showcase their products and meet with conferees. Legislative Program: Our grassroots legislative program is a foundational pillar of MSSA. From members who want to become actively involved, to those who simply want legislative updates, MSSA represents health and human services professionals at the Minnesota State Capitol and knows that a strong, active and influential legislative program is essential to ensuring high quality health and human services.
