The Gold award for National Green Awards by the Central Environmental Authority in 2016. Barberyn Reef Ayurveda Resort won the National Tourism award for Best Ayurveda Resort in 2018. In 2019, Barberyn received the Presidential Award for Highest Foreign Exchange Earner in Wellness Sector for the 7th consecutive year by the Export Development Board of Sri Lanka.
