To inspire a generation of leaders in the face of poverty, poor education and socio-economic disparity; the Institute for Youth Leadership and Community Development provides youth with opportunities to advance their leadership skills through community service and education, giving our participating youth a sense of accomplishment, positive reinforcement and the confidence to achieve their personal goals and give back to the community. We help young people reach their goals and become the men and women they have dreamt of being. The more skilled and confident our youth, the greater the impact they can have on the community. They can become role models, as well as leaders who also inspire their peers. Our youth become highly educated men and women, gain financial stability and are able to use their influence and resources to build a better community.
