St Michaels Youth Project (London) has been in existence since 1996. The aims of the project through the programmes run are: 1. To raise the self esteem and self worth of young people in ways that can be demonstrated through their motivation, self belief, practice and aspirations for self, family and the community to be successful. 2. To enhance the conditions of life and improve the life-chances of young people through education and training in an environment that is safe, underpinned with discipline, courtesy and respect and where being successful and achieving is the norm not the exception, so that our young people become ambassadors of good practice, sound values and community cohesion locally, nationally and globally. 3. To provide opportunity with support for young people (and families).
