The University of Idaho Foundation supports the University of Idaho's tradition of excellence. As the largest public foundation in the State of Idaho, the Foundation attracts private financial support to enhance the University. Through the Foundation, the University of Idaho awards more than $20 million of annual scholarships and support for students, programs, and faculty. The generosity of donors provides support for students, programs, faculty, staff, and facilities that may not otherwise be possible. The Foundation receives these gifts in a variety of forms that include cash contributions, marketable securities, real estate, bequests, gift annuities, and trusts. The University of Idaho, established in 1889, offers over 215 undergraduate programs, masters' degrees, and doctoral degrees with more than 200 clubs/activities and 14 athletic teams. The University of Idaho is classified, by Carnegie Foundation, as a higher research activity university and recently opened the Integrated Research and Innovation Center on campus.Ways to support the University of Idaho can be found at https://www.uidaho.edu/uidahofoundation/ways-to-give
