A six-pack indie/rock group from Crozet, VA, Mill's dual female leads deliver catchy, aspirational tunes. But playful music and multilingual lyrics are only part of what makes Mill an antidote to the musical same-ol' same-ol: when's the last time you heard a mandicello on a pop song? Founded by a recovering Italianist and a former dot-comer, Mill features an arsenal of super-talented musicians who, all told, play a chamber orchestra's worth of instruments. The members span three decades in age and the guitarist is, of all things, a luthier by day. Mill's debut EP, "We Don't Talk About It," was released earlier this year. The first full-length album is currently in production. You don't have to wait to hear the band's new material, though. Experience the antidote in person. Hit refresh, find rewind. Listen to MILL.
