SVA is a Lusaka based, Zambian registered not for profit, that offers consulting and project implementation services related to finance, agriculture, household energy and climate change throughout sub-Saharan Africa. SVA has significant in-house knowledge and expertise related to the financial market and impacts of climate change in Africa. SVA founders Dr. John Fay and Dr. Samuel Bell and team of highly capable consultants have significant experience implementing and researching access to finance activities in Africa since 2008. SVA offers practical knowledge and experience of implementing developmental projects in Africa, as well as a proven track record in delivering rigourous research. SVA is lead by Dr. Samuel Bell and Dr. John Fay, both with extensive academic and practical experience in Zambia and internationally on climate change adaptation and mitigation. Over the past ten years, SVA directors have published numerous peer review journal articles on financial development in Africa and advised on policy and practice locally and internationally for donor agencies and the private sector including AfDB, USAID, EU, DFID, World Bank, US Forestry Service, South Pole Carbon, and the MCC.
