The Good Shepherd Alliance is Loudoun County's most comprehensive network of services for the homeless, near-homeless, and those in need. Our shelters and transitional housing not only provides care for the immediate needs of those who come to us, but we also work with partners in the community – organizations, volunteers, and local businesses to address the deeper causes of homelessness. Our goal is to help everyone find housing stability, economic independence, and self-sufficiency.The Good Shepherd Alliance is a Christian non-profit faith-based organization providing help and hope for the near homeless, homeless, and those in need in our community.We view everyone in our surrounding community as our neighbors with whom we seek to develop beneficial relationships to help the unhoused. We collaborate with community leaders, citizens, local government, educational institutions, human service organizations, businesses, congregations, foundations, and other organizations to develop a spirit of community for all.We create programs that open doors to housing security, economic independence, and self-sufficiency, which allow our clients to become involved members of our community. We seek to develop innovative partnerships by involving our clients in opportunities where they can offer their skills and leadership in The Good Shepherd Alliance and in our local community.We are supported by faithful friends who give of their time, expertise, prayers, and finances to further the work of The Good Shepherd Alliance.
