The Milwaukee Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure was founded in 1999 by a group of dedicated breast cancer survivors, breast health professionals, and other women of vision. In addition to funding breast cancer research, the Affiliate also makes grant awards to fund breast health programs for medically underserved women in southeastern Wisconsin.
