We are an independent, specialist public transport and transport planning consultancy, whose clients include central government, local authorities, developers, major employers and commercial transport providers.Transept was established in 1998 as a private company limited by shares and is a member of Co-operatives UK. As a co-operative, the business is owned and democratically controlled by its employees and all our staff contribute to the running of the business, sharing both the responsibility and the rewards for the continued success of the company. While the company itself is run with a co-operative structure, more traditional hierarchical teams steer individual projects. These teams are designed to take advantage of the knowledge and experience of our staff.
