Klingspor's Woodworking Shop consists of four retail stores in NC, an online catalog and mail order catalog. We offer over 12,000 products for woodworking, metalworking, woodturning, woodcarving and much more. Klingspor's Woodworking Shop specializes in woodworking abrasives, machines, tools as well as hard to find abrasives. In the 1980s our sister company, Klingspor Abrasives US, had cut-off material from manufacturing that was being placed in our local landfill as waste. Being environmentally conscious, they decided to take what would be waste and repurpose it. Klingspor's Woodworking Shop was established in 1989. With a single-page ad in a woodworking magazine, we offered "The Bargain Box" which is 20lbs of industrial rolls/cut-offs/belt abrasives materials. This box would have been waste from manufacturing is now repurposed into abrasives anyone can use! From this ad, we have built a reputation of high quality, industrial-grade abrasives at low prices.
