The Firm was established by SK Das in 1987 when he left his teaching and global consultancy position at the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS), Rotterdam to return to India and establish a cutting-edge practice that is at the forefront of Urban Design and Architecture.Our work is a reflection of our commitment to innovation, sensitivity to the community and a deep understanding of the social context. We question- listen-brainstorm and define our objectives – WE THEN DESIGN. A great attention to detail, meticulous documentation, and respect for our Clients' vision, budget and schedule define our work culture. We address challenges from multiple perspectives – we evaluate what the end user will experience and how our work would fit into the larger urban context. Our works are inspired by the city and urbanism and promote an aesthetic that represents the cultural diversity of the community.
