Giv is a product giveaway software engineered for bloggers, affiliates, and community managers as a tool to host product giveaways.Once registered, any user can enter any product giveaway with a single click, and host product giveaways for free. We plan to offer an in-app service to follow up any product giveaway with a one time product purchase email to all entrants.Giv was originally developed as a one off solution for Home & Family, a talk show on The Hallmark Channel. They had an affiliate network introducing weekly products on the show and host a giveaway through their Facebook page. Upon launching the software, within two weeks of hosting 8 giveaways, we were able to generate 30,000 entries. There were roughly 140,000 fans on their Facebook page at the time, giving us a conversion rate of 21.4%. Giv saved between 16 and 32 hours of billable time within those two weeks, and continuously to follow. Based on that response, I saw opportunity to package it as a SAAS product.We're able to position like we have because of the time invested in-house to design & develop the current solution.
