Since 1988, Center for Schools and Communities (CSC) has been committed to improving outcomes for children and families through training, technical assistance, program evaluation, research and resource development. CSC's work focuses on prevention and intervention initiatives operated by schools, organizations and agencies serving children, youth and families. We work in public partnership with state agencies, federal programs, private foundations, universities and community organizations to support the development of innovative programs in schools and communities.We are recognized as thought and service leaders in these focus areas: afterschool/OST, bullying prevention, child injury prevention, environmental education, equity and social justice, family-school-community partnerships, school safety, family strengthening and support, social and emotional learning, STEM and youth development, among others. Our staff possess diverse backgrounds in education, human services and community development, as well as specialized skills and experience in program development and design, evaluation, grant administration, information management and digital learning. This combination of education and experience enables us to provide customized solutions in consultation and training.
