Lead Software Engineer at AIAA Rutgers Rocket Propulsion Laboratory - Piscataway, NJ, US
The Rutgers Rocket Propulsion Laboratory's (RRPL) latest project is Space 2020. This ambitious project focuses on launching a multistage rocket into space, past the Karman Line, 100 km into the atmosphere. Our combined teams of engineering, geology, computer scientists, physics and business students at Rutgers University, comprising of more than 150 student members, will be utilizing the funds and materials from RRPL's sponsors to construct this rocket under the supervision of Professors Francsico Javier-Diez and Professor Edward Dumaro from the Mechanical and Aerospace Department at Rutgers University. Facilities and large equipment are provided by the Rutgers School of Engineering. The rocket itself will feature multistage boosters, an on-board camera, and in-house developed telemetry systems and fuel mixtures. All components of the rocket are assembled and developed by our diverse student membership base, while simultaneously utilizing our outreach events to different majors and high schools.
