SEDS Antariksh VIT Chennai (Students for the Exploration and Development of Space) is a collective of students brought together by the common goal of creating the future of space science and technology. The Chapter draws its members from a multi-disciplinary background motivated to accelerate the space movement through the thought, that the next logical step in human civilization is not only to explore but to evolve into a spacefaring civilization.Our chapter constitutes of three different divisions:Core: We aim at increasing knowledge among our peers through a variety of events which includes sessions from renowned personalities in the sector, hackathons, ideathons and other such initiatives.Project: We work on space-related projects like making rover, UAV, drones, etc. We also participate in various national and international space-based challenges.Outreach: We aim at spreading knowledge beyond the walls of our university to cater to the young and curious minds in various schools and NGOs.Our organization seeks to empower students to learn about the universe and engineering solutions to help them reach new heights.
