Founded by former investment banker and influencer Patricia Bright, The Break is an online platform that provides the tools to empower young millennial women to learn and grow in their personal and professional lives. Our name represents the gap between what one perceives as being a good lifestyle, and attaining said lifestyle. We do this by offering practical, relatable advice on topics such as investment, property, and women's issues on YouTube (weekly) and Instagram (daily). We've firmly established our place in the lives of our audience, which comprises mostly women between the ages of 17-60, with specific focus on the 23-27 age bracket.Our dedicated, engaged community drives discussions around financial literacy and money management, and we often discuss unexplored, taboo subjects. Although our focus is on the UK primarily, we want to empower young millennial women worldwide. Furthermore, our Caught Off Guard podcast includes a series of interviews featuring successful and inspiring business people from a range of industries. Within a short space of time our podcast has already broken Apple Store records when it beat the likes of NPR's How I Made It and jumped to the number spot upon its launch.We've amassed over 120k YouTube subscribers and 30k followers on Instagram since January 2020 and have been profiled on Forbes, BBC Radio 4, Yahoo, Women's Health, and The Guardian.
