The longest established hospital in the southeast Valley, Chandler Regional’s humble beginnings as a community hospital, which opened with only 40 beds, 25 employees and 91 volunteers, laid the foundation for the full-service acute-care hospital it has become. The hospital recently opened a new five-story tower with 96 patient beds, expanding emergency and trauma services, the surgical unit and intensive care offerings.
