BootieButler's goal is to be the leading provider of high quality, automatic shoe cover systems, while offering the highest level of customer service.Protexer Corporation, parent company for BootieButler brands, was founded by Rob Heller in 2004. While attending a trade show in China, Heller discovered a large variety of shoe-cover dispensers and recognized their potential in U.S. markets. Heller and his business partner, Jim Woods, researched the various models of shoe cover dispensers before selecting the best one to introduce to the U.S. market.The original shoe cover dispenser had a basic design and was primarily used in the real estate, construction, and home delivery markets. Heller knew that with a wider range of shoe covers and further innovation of the shoe cover dispenser, the products could be successful in other markets. In 2005, Protexer, Inc. began doing business under the name BootieButler and debuted the Original BootieButler dispenser and shoe cover line. Heller and Woods continued to develop the shoe cover dispenser design and bootie functionality. They recognized the need for a dispenser that had a large capacity, yet was still easy to load. In 2006, BootieButler adopted the electronic Extreme Butler, and later the company brought the KineticButler models to market.All these improvements are geared toward one broader goal – increasing the quality of the BootieButler brand to better serve customers.
