After a number of stinkin' fresh releases brought out in 2009 by Raving Loony Records managed to get some international attention and shoot up the charts locally, the small sub-label made the decision to evolve into its own independent beast. Managers Manuel Jahn and Mark Moerchen have snapped up some of the most exciting young producers and DJ's and have stuffed them in their monkey cage, ready to throw their steaming hot beats at you while you try to take photos.The artists have already strewn their sounds through Hamburg's most wanted clubs: Baalsaal, Neidklub, Morphine, Waagenbau, Klubsen, Prinzenbar, Muellermeyerschulze just to name a few.Playing away from home is also not new to the pack, having collective experience in Sydney, Berlin, London and Milan.Within the artists as well as collabs with other freshlings are always bubbling away under the surface and we're creating the Loonyverse full of EP and album releases out of the house of Loony.Looking forward to murdering some speakers with y'all!
