STARCHING - Studio Architettura Ingegneria – is a firm specialised in architectural integrated design, project management, site supervision and Health and Safety coordination of office buildings, shopping centers, hotel facilities, apartment complexes and hotels projectsSet up in 1992 as a professional partnership between the engineer Marcello Cerea and architect Maria Paola Pontarollo, it quickly made its mark in the field and in 1999 became an engineering company.The skills and specific professional competencies acquired by STARCHING staff ensure an interdisciplinary approach in the construction sector, which extends from property valuation to final inspection. Advanced technical expertise, specific working methods and up-to-date technology enable STARCHING to tackle projects of any complexity, offering competitive professional services at all times. In February 2002 the company obtained ISO 9001 certification of its management system, a necessary step in modernisation of the company. Since 2006 STARCHING has been working with ERP software to guide and coordinate all the resources involved in a project. Starting from June 2008, a BIM software has been adopted, in order to base the design process on a unique database both for drawings and documents. BIM process, deployed in every project, enables highly collaborative work where the design team fully integrates information from all sources during each design phase
