That's quite frankly because often the goal is just to push your body through a bunch of reps checking them off of a to-do list, rather than considering your workout as an expertly crafted experience – going through a targeted set of moves in order to recruit muscles specifically, to sculpt and tone effectively, to burn fat efficiently, and to apply training techniques to balance the way you ask your body to move.
