Ringway has over 30 years' experience as a leading service provider of local authority highways contracts in the United Kingdom. Highways contracts currently operated by Ringway include: Plymouth, Bracknell Forest, Hertfordshire, Milton Keynes, North Yorkshire, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire. Ringway provides a range of services on these contracts, from winter maintenance to gully cleansing; grass cutting to routine road maintenance and repairs.Ringway began operating two 25-year Private Finance Initiatives (PFIs) in 2013: Hounslow Highways in the London Borough of Hounslow and Island Roads on the Isle of Wight. On both PFIs, a huge programme of street improvements has already begun. Roads, pavements and cycle paths are being upgraded and improved, as well as new LED street lighting installed. In addition, a number of services are being provided such as street cleansing, cleaning graffiti and removing the rubbish left by fly-tippers, as well as the more traditional highways services such as maintaining trees, verges and gritting the roads during winter.Ringway's vision is to be the preferred service provider within our chosen sectors, delivering value for money and more sustainable answers to the needs of our customers and society.
