CIEL (Centre for Innovation Excellence in Livestock) is one of four Agri-Tech centres of excellence set up by the UK Government in 2016. CIEL is an industry led organisation which aims to connect organisations with additional industrial or academic partners to deliver real-world innovation throughout the supply chain. Operating across all farmed animal systems, CIEL acts to identify suitable funding and provide support throughout the application and project delivery processes. Members of CIEL benefit from multiple state-of-the-art research facilities, private knowledge exchange networks and an opportunity to help shape national agricultural policies.
