Afra Modern Systems company-"AMS" (Samanehaye Novin Afra) is one of the largest manufacturers of silicone rubber insulators, phase spacers, jumper insulators and fuse cut-outs for medium voltage lines in the Middle East. Our main production facilities are located in Shiraz Especial Economic Zone (Iran). Our brand name ("Voltage") is well-known among electrical distribution companies, engineers and contractors. We produce more than 80 percent of materials used in manufacturing of our final products such as: GRP rods and silicone compound.The resin that is used in production of GRP rods has great specifications, to name a few: resistance to leakage current, brittle fracture, destruction with ozone and moisture absorption. The properties of this resin are dominant to all other resins used in this industry. We are using low-seed ECR fiber glass (the most modern product in fiber glass industry) to accomplish products excellence.The silicon rubber compound has a unique formulation with properties such as anti-pollution, hydrophobicity, resistance to flame, tracking and erosion, high dielectric strength, volume electrical resistance, low dielectric loss factor and good mechanical properties. Every single batch of our products is tested according to IEC standards.The AMS products are based on the latest scientific findings and domestic and international standards (IEC and ANSI), including IEC 62217(2012), IEC 61109(2008), IEC 61109(2008) for production of suspension and pin insulators and IEC 62217(2005) and IEC 60282-2(2008) for production of cut-out fuses.
