Founded in 1937 by Jack McNaughton and soon joined by his two brothers Max and Noel, McNaughton Windows and Doors quickly became a leader of New Zealand's timber window and door market.Through the years, the philosophy has remained constant. With that McNaughton's soon became the largest exterior window and door manufacturers in New Zealand and have not let up.The growth of McNaughton's was rapid and initially was on the back of winning timber window and door manufacturing contracts for Maori Affairs and State housing projects. The company proudly points to numerous examples of its windows and doors manufactured in the 1940's and 50's still operating, and with a ‘sand and paint' will continue to look and function superbly for years to come.Through relentless endeavor to innovate, McNaughton's branched into architecturally designed timber windows and doors supplying customised windows and doors to New Zealand nationwide and the wider pacific including high end Hawaii export projects in the 1990's.
